Schools have resumed for the final term of the school year, so motorists need to be aware of increased traffic around schools and resumption of speed zones.

As we are in Election Mode, with a Caretaker Council, we can’t catch up with the Central Goldfields Shire Mayor at present. Once the elections are complete normal service will resume.
The Central Goldfields Art Gallery is open 10.00am to 4.00pm from Thursday to Sunday every week, but you can still get your art fix on the Gallery’s Facebook Page and Website.
All our local markets are up and running. The Lions Club Bookshop is open on weekdays and Saturday mornings. All Op shops are open. The Salvation Army is still providing crisis assistance at Wills Street and for Vinnies assistance phone 54611074.
The Maryborough & District Garden Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at the Maryborough Senior Citizens Rooms in Phillip’s Gardens @ 7.30pm.
The Maryborough & District Mental Health Carers Support Group gets together at the Community Hub at 1.00pm on the first Wednesday of each month.
The Maryborough & District Support Group 4 Carers gets together at the Mill Neighbourhood House at 10.30am on the third Thursday of each month.
The Maryborough Country Music Club is on at the Highland Society (Sponsor) on the first Sunday of every month.
The Goldfields Music Club will conduct a family friendly Open Mike every second and fourth Friday night of the month from 6.30pm at the Dunolly Golf Club.
