Although a State of Emergency has been declared, Victoria still remains on COVID 19safe Summer restrictions with most state borders, except for NSW, remaining open.
As restrictions continue to be eased please let us know if you are opening up again, especially if you are one our community or sporting groups, so we can keep our listeners up to date.
The wearing an approved face mask is once again mandatory in Victoria when you are indoors, apart from when you’re eating or drinking, except in your own home. You are still required to carry a face mask at all times and wear it in retail shops and on public transport and anywhere you can’t socially distance.
The message is still…. always Stay Safe, Wear an approved face mask when needed, Practice Social Distancing and Good Hygiene, and get tested if you feel crook.

The community hub, including the offices of Goldfields FM, will be open on weekdays between 9.00am and 4.00pm, but if you prefer you can still contact Goldfields FM by phone on 5461 3570, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Central Goldfields Shire is continuing to make changes to services – Although the Customer Service is open on weekdays, from 9.00am to 4.00pm, for all shire services you can still call 5461 0610 or email@example.com.

The Lions Club Bookshop is open on weekdays and Saturday morning. All Op shops are open. The Salvation Army is still providing crisis assistance at Wills Street and for Vinnies assistance phone 54611074.
Community sport now can be played, but under COVID 19 safe conditions. The Leisure Centre, Gyms and other indoor sport have also reopened.
Maryborough Men’s Shed, Probus Clubs and local dances are all in recess, but many are looking to recommence after the school holidays. The Maryborough & District Garden Club restarted their activities with an outdoor get together in Phillips Gardens.
The Talbot Markets are up going again, with the Dunolly Market looking to recommence in January.
The Carisbrook Lions Club are organising a family get together from 6.00pm at Market Square on January 14th to mark the 10th Anniversary of the Carisbrook Floods.
Make sure you stay safe. Remember to wear a mask when you need to. Practice good hygiene & social distancing, but with a thumbs up or a big smile when your are out and about.
