What’s On Calendar

A Merry Christmas, and a Happy and Safe New Year, to all our wonderful listeners, from everyone here at Goldfields FM.

Check out the Visit Maryborough facebook page where there are lots of activities in the Central Goldfields are mentioned. It is maintained by the lovely folk at the Visitor information Centre.

The offices of Goldfields FM will be closed from noon on Tuesday 24th of December, 2024, until 9.00am on Monday 6th of January, 2025, but Goldfields FM will still be broadcasting 24 hours a day during that period, with lots of special holiday shows.

The Central Goldfields Shire Customer Service Centre will be closed from 2.00pm on Tuesday 24th of December, 2024 until 9.00am on Thursday 2nd of January, 2025. The Community Hub will reopen for community use on Monday 6th January, 2025.

Check the Central Goldfields Shire Council website for all the latest local information, including how to access Shire services during the holiday period. We will catch up with the Central Goldfields Shire Mayor, Grace La Vella, or Deputy Mayor, Ben Green, every Wednesday and Friday here on Goldfields FM.

The Central Goldfields Art Gallery is normally open between 10.00am to 4.00pm from Thursday to Sunday every week, but will be closed from Christmas Day until 2nd January. Meanwhile you can still get your art fix on the Gallery’s Facebook Page and Website.

All our local markets are up and running. The Lions Club Bookshop is open on weekdays and Saturday mornings. The Salvation Army is still providing crisis assistance at Wills Street and for Vinnies assistance phone 54611074.
